Autumn Winter Blog Hop!

Good Morning everyone!

I hope you’re ready for the ESAD Blog Hop! Better go grab yourself a cuppa as you’ll be hopping for a while!

What is ESAD you say?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators.

We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

For those of you who follow my blog, I would just like to say sorry for not being here over the last week. I have been sick with the flu and I have lots of catching up do. I will try to be a bit more consistent in future.

Anyway I thought that I would feature a couple of things today for you. Honestly there are so many yummy things in the new mini catalogue! So here is my sample!

Firstly I thought I'd do a little 'candle stamping'. Using the Cottage Garden stamp set, I made this super cute candle. It looks fab, doesn't it? Have you tried 'candle stamping' before? It's really not that hard. The secret is that you don't actually stamp on the candle. LOL! All you do is stamp on tissue paper and then wrap it around your candle, cover with baking paper and then gently heat with your Heat tool. It's so super easy to do and I am yet to see one that I don't like.

Also I thought I'd make a box to showcase this candle. Now I was having a bit of trouble taking photo's today. Too much glare, so I hope you forgive my crude attempts.

Anyway this box is made using the gorgeous Flower Fantasy Printed Window Sheets, which of course, co-ordinates with the Cottage Garden stamp set and Cottage Wall DSP.

The base and lid of this box are made using the Big Shot Top Note die. I love the different edging this provides. This Top Note die is a must have for scrapbooking, cardmaking and 3D projects. It is so versatile.

The ribbon on the candle and the tag are secured using 5/16" brads, which were available in the spring mini and Stampin' Up!® have carried over and there are still some available.

Below is a picture of the candle nestled nicely in it's special box. I think this is a great Mother's Day present.

Now I could go on all day and create so much using the new in-colour, Rich Razzleberry, and Cottage Garden stamp set. Personally I had been secretly coveting it, when it arrived in the US. But I thought I'd also show you something a lot different. Just in case you aren't a Rich Razzleberry/Cottage Garden fan (could that be?).

Anyway here is a sweet little card made using the Pony Party stamp set. I purchased this set in clear mount. Yep, clear mount. Stampin' Up® have bought out clear mount stamps. I thought that if I didn't like these, my daughter could have them. Sorry Lucinda, but these are mummy's. They are great. So good for storage space. The stamps are still made from rubber and stamp in the same quality as wood mount. There is still an image on the back of your stamp, so you can get placement right.

Anyway back to Pony Party! This stamp set is 2 step. I added the wings, horn and rainbow on the rump. As you can image there are plenty of different options available. There is a party hat, butterfly, hearts, star, flowers and grass tufts to this set as well.

Of course my Unicorn Pony wouldn't be magical if it didn't have bling! So out came the chunky glitter.

Oh I almost forgot, I used Gretchen Barrons Inspiration in Action 123 sketch for this card.

Alright I am getting tired now! So much excitement! I'd better let you keep some energy for the rest of the hop. Your next stop is Susan Joyce who is going to dazzle you with her brilliance and a new punch!
