So this is my contribution. Talk about mixing the old with the new. Old DSP, New In-colors and stamp set.
When I was nearly finished making this card, the butterflies looked a little dull. So I decided to give them some bling. If I could add Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds to every card and item, I would. LOL!
Card: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Basic Black
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Island Indigo, Basic Black
DSP: Greenhouse Gala
Punches: 1 3/4" Circle, Scallop Circle
Big Shot: Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder
Stamp Set: Precious Butterflies (hostess set)
Till next time, happy stamping...
Welcome back, I love that set too. Haven't played with it yet. Love the bling on your card.
ReplyDeleteLovin' those little butterflies! Thanks for playing along.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you've found some "me time" for yourself at last. Lovely card!
ReplyDeleteFirst things first! Taking a break when you got stuff to do is important. It must be hard being the only parent at home. My hubby works long hours but he does come home at night. I can only imagine... I'm so happy that you got some "me" time. This is what it's all about. Your card is gorgeous and I love that butterfly medallion! Thanks for playing with us over on stamping411 this week. (((hugs))) Selene
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the CE/DD look! It always adds a beautiful finish. I am interested to know ... did you rock and roll these images??? Gorgeous, Hunny! I have been stalking your blog ... and here you are finally back in blog land! I have missed you. Hope Corey is home to stay for a little while ... and you can do some stamping therapy a little more often! Hugs xxaxx
ReplyDeleteNot Rock and Roll - inked the whole image in Pear Pizzazz and then used Island Indigo to go around the edges.
ReplyDeleteHe's only home this week :-(
Cheers
Sonia
